Beauty Post: iMakeup Look & Product Review

Woah! It has been some time since I did a beauty post.
Apologies!
My make up collection is that of a beauty hoarders.
Yet I always have room for more lip products.
During a recent drug store run I found two new lip colors.
After recently frolicking among the sandy shores of Pismo Beach,
I was in the mood for some summer lips.
This is what I came home with.

Coral Craze!!!!

Product #1: Revlon Moon Drops Lipstick in Blase Apricot # 702
Non Metallic, Low Shine...PLUS PLUS
I was worried about looking like an old lady with this color.
But I feel that it meshes well with my skin color.
Durability: Good
Price:$ 8.99 defiantly take advantage of the BOGO deals and use your rewards card

Product #2: Revlon Moon Drops Lipstick in Hot Coral #712
Non Metallic, Low Shine
This is about 4 shades brighter then the Apricot color.
Has more of a reddish orange tint. Over all, I like it...I am actually still wearing it.
Durability: Good
Price:$ 8.99 defiantly take advantage of the BOGO deals and use your rewards card.

I paired these Hot Coral lips with this iMakeup Look.
Using ELF Palette from Target $10

Happy Hump Day Y'all!

Dating my husband

Hey Friends! So we are still in the beginnings of the work week.
But I like to have a plan of action set forth for my week.
This includes my weekend plans.
IE: Date Night
Friday and Saturday creep up on us and before we know it we have missed
the opportunity to have our MUCH NEEDED Date Night.

ONE of my resolutions GOALS this year was to make it a priority to date my husband, regularly.
We are guilty of doing this or that and not actually making time for our
 One on One QUALITY time.
Lets be honest...Stretching out date night 6 times a year is just not enough to keep my love tank full. So at the beginning of the year I sat down with my husband and wrote up a list of potential
date night ideas. Cost ranging from "Free" to "$50".
(If you are like me, you have to figure in your babysitters fees too, so we don't wanna do something crazy expensive)

I believe that a date night should consist of "quality time". One on One personal interaction.
Face to Face, being in each others personal space.
Here are a few ideas my honey and I came up with
1: Take a drive to the foothills and have a picnic.
Make a picnic sitting in the back of the truck and watch the sun set.
Price: Free in exception to your gas

2. Go for FROYO or Ice Cream.
Where we live there is a nice Ice Cream Place outside a mall with
waterfalls and flamed torches. It is beautiful at night. Quiet romantic too!
Price: $10-20

3. Go to the Batting Cages.
My husband plays in a mens softball league. BP (batting practice) is always welcomed.
It doesn't hurt to get a little hands on lesson myself. *wink*
Price: Ranges on time spent at the cages

4: Go to the Gun Range
Seriously a lot of fun!
Ladies what is hotter then you in heels holding a handgun...
Price: Ammunition

5: Miniature Golf/Slick Track Racing
A little competition is healthy. Winner gets a special treat. *wink
Price: $20+

6: Stay home and cook dinner together.
Get a sitter for the kids...out of the house. Cook dinner in your...what ever you want.
Eat by candle light, fireside, just create that ambiance.
Price: Free

7: Ice Skating
How cute. Back to the dating days. Hand in hand couples skate.
Then go have some warm coffee after.
Price:$20+

8: Bonfire under the stars
If you have a fire pit put it to use.
Sit under the stars together and just enjoy the warmth from the fire and each others arms.
 Have a cocktail or two.
Price: Free

10: Drive In
I know they are scarce these days, but we do have one not too far from us. Put a mattress in the back of a truck, blankets and pillows and watch a movie under the stars, in each others arms.
Price: $20

11: A round of Golf
BLAH...I am not a golfer, but for my husband I will try it.
Give and take my friends...
As long as we are together...and I get to drive the cart.
Price: $ ? I honestly do not know

Basically we were trying to do stuff that each other enjoys.
Coming up with different ideas, rather then the standard, "dinner and a movie."

If you have any fun date night ideas please share.
Here's to some fun...

WIW & a little photo shoot with some studs!

Friends! Let me just say the weather here has been beautiful all week.
Perfect forecast for layering your clothing.
The sun was shinning today and I just couldn't stand being cooped up in the house all day.
After school the boys and I went to play with the camera out in some blossom orchard.
Yep, we totally trespassed. I swears I did not see those
5 No Trespassing signs.

Every spring I drool over the gorgeousness's the blossom trees bring.
I always wanted to take family photos near them. A sweet friend of mine told me about a area right around the block from my house. WHY have I never thought about "trespassing" there!?!
So today, we did a little creeping around and snapped some photos.
Honestly we didn't harm any trees in the process...

Here are some photos we took with my little Nikon L100
