Fantastic Four! Organix Macadamia Oil Hair Products & Review

Today I am sharing my Fantastic Four.

If you didn't know, I used to be a artificial blonde.
I had one terribly bad dye job (salon done) and had to have THREE more just to repair the damage.
For almost a full year I bleached and re bleached my hair.
My hair was beyond over processed...it was straw.
The upkeep on bleached hair and the damage was more then I could handle.
So I decided to go back to my nappy roots...dark.
Now I have been doing my best to repair my hair and get it back to the silky shine status.

Last weekend I made it to ULTA for my VERY FIRST TIME EVER!
Yep...hanging my head in shame...I didn't even know we had one in FRESNO.
I tortured myself for a little over an hour walking up and down the aisles with my two boys.

I was originally looking for another Macadamia hair care product I have been hearing great reviews about. Needless to say...I didn't find it there. I will also mention that I found out it is sold at Target (my other heaven) but for $30 a bottle. EPPPP...Myocardial infarction!!!! Out of my budget.
What I did find at Ulta, were THESE...
AND they were BOGO...woot woot!

Priced $7.99 each and then the BOGO 1/2 off.
This is what my bank account likes...
ALL FOUR BOTTLES FOR LESS then what I would have paid for the other...ONE BOTTLE!

I am loving the results of these babies.
So needless to say THIS IS MY FANTASTIC FOUR for the week.
This week I have had to wash my hair EV-ER-Y day because of my sweaty workout routines...
so I have been using this treatment daily.
Over the course of 4 days I have already noticed a difference in my hair texture.
It smells great too...or maybe its my pheromones. *wink*

Products:
Macadamia Shampoo: Lather and rinse
Macadamia Conditioner: Use after shampoo wash. Leave in 3-5 minutes and rinse well.
(I always rinse my hair in hot water and then cold water to lock in moisture)
Macadamia Intense Moisture Mask: After shampoo wash, apply generously to hair, set for 3-5 minutes OR for really brittle hair 20-30 minutes (under a shower cap) rinse thoroughly.
Macadamia Dry Styling Oil: Styling serum for wet or dry hair. Smooths end and leaves strands silky soft.

The dry styling oil seems to have the same results as my favorite CHI styling oil. I have been faithful to my CHI for years...but I like the price difference with the Organix.

The scent of these products is not over powering. It does have a subtle scent to it.
Product did not leave my hair heavy or oily.
Fact it left my hair feeling soft and easy to comb.
Right out of the shower I was able to run a wide toothed comb through it.
During blow drying I didn't fuss with tangles and my hair was easy to style.

I honestly really like these products.
If after one week of using them I am seeing results in my hair texture.
I can not wait to see the outcome after a month.

THESE my friends...
are what I am obsessing over this week.

*I will also mention, you can find this product at CVS if you do not have an ULTA near you*

  2. I've used the macadamia line by organix and love it. I like all of the organix hair products though so I may be biased.

  3. I have curly curly hair which tends to dry out and get frizzy. I do not color or process it at all. Lately the hair that would be bangs is just ALWAYS kinky frizzy ewww. I quit using conditioner PERIOD. Just stopped using it cold turkey and my hair has improved a lot. Instead, I use jojoba oil from the health food store and a teensy bit of avacado oil and one drop of essential oil for fragrance. LOVE the result and can't argue with the price or the ingredients. No more buildup from conditioners and I am amazed what a difference this makes.
